Lenten Soup Suppers
The Soup Supper tradition began 20 years ago, with simple community meals of soup, bread, and water during Lent. (Some people have been known to bring a bottle of wine!) Attendees contribute whatever they might have spent on dinner that evening, with all proceeds going to support the Thomas Merton Family Center.
These suppers help raise awareness of the hunger around us, raise funds for the Merton Center, and build community.
