Just a word before we go...The Feast of Pentecost...May 28, 3023

Whether we think of the Holy Spirit as placing tongues of fire above the heads of those gathered in the upper room, or we imagine a holy wind winding its way between heaven and earth, we know that the Holy Spirit is among us, enlivening, inspiring, animating and motivating us all to acts of kindness and charity and justice.  As for those disciples in the upper room, as well as for us present in this congregation, the Holy Spirit, bestowed on us all at the feast of Pentecost, is the wind beneath our wings.  May we all listen and pay attention to the whispers and leadings of the Spirit, as we make our way through life.
